The Championship
The World Doubles Championship of Real Tennis is held every two years, generally in opposite years to the World Singles Championship.
The 2024 World Doubles Championship was held in Chicago and featured Ben Taylor-Matthews & Bryn Sayers, Rob Fahey & Nick Howell, Steve Virgona & John Lumley, and the holders and subsequent victors Camden Riviere & Tim Chisholm. Doubles played at this level is arguably the game’s most thrilling spectator form.
The championship is between the four best pairs entering the competition, ranked by their combined world doubles ranking points. Entries will be announced once known.
