We are running a number of events to raise the money required to restore the floor. Details will appear here as the fundraising activity progresses. While Covid 19 has forced us to postpone some of our events planned for the summer we are embracing alternatives.
If you would like to make a donation please contact the club or visit our People's Fundraising donations page.
We are very pleased to have been awarded a grant by Sport England. The grant recognises the role the club plays as a provider of sports facilities to the local community.
We were pleased to receive a grant towards our fundraising efforts from the sport's governing body the Tennis & Rackets Association. Following the original research work we conducted into the characteristics of the floor the T&RA also made a contribution to cover some of these costs. Our thanks to them.
While the was taking place our videos and social media posts advertised our just giving page which raised £1,725. We would like to thank everyone who made a donation and helped us reach this total.
The Just Giving page is now closed but if you would still like to donate please use the button at the top of this page.
The club's very own Master of Wine Mark Savage has another lockdown wine offer with 10% of all sales going towards the club's floor restoration fund. Following feedback from the first offer which raised £500 Mark has included a mixed case in the new offer. For details of the wines on offer and how to order please download the details below.
Offer is subject to availability & pictured wines not included. We will have to wait for the court to re-open before we can see them again.
We have produced a lockdown quiz for you to tackle in a quiet moment with no need for Zoom.
The quiz is just for fun with questions on Tennis and general knowledge questions on the countries where tennis is played.
Download a copy and please feel free to share it with others.
Let us know how you get on.
The answers will appear here on 30th May
