Making and Exhibition

On the Saturday night of the Ogilby Cup, Darren Long (eschewing sensible advice in the face of illness), played an excellent exhibition doubles alongside Bertie Vallat and against Lewis Williams (LTCC Head Pro) & Rob Shenkman (World #7 and Amateur #1). Although not intended as MMTCC v LTCC it became thus at the insistence of a particular member of the audience.

MMTCC triumphed 6/5 4/6 6/5 as the players entertained a crowd which barely recognised the game it was watching.
